PTC - good luck with your parents. I had a chance to tell my dad about ED this weekend (my sisters and auntie know). He called me when I was on my way to see RD and asked where I was. I told him I was going to a nutritionist and he got alarmed and asked why would I do that. I wimped out and told him I was just getting advice and making sure I was eating healthy. Since my mom died he gets so upset when us girls have health issues. And I lost a good friend to ED that our family was really close to when I was a teen and I think he would panic and think that I was going to die too. He's in his early 70s and fully capable of understanding. We have plenty of family drama already. I'm really not sure what benefit would come of telling him.
