JP, I did disclose the details in the end...everything I've talked about on here, all the difficulties I've had in talking about and exploring sexual stuff in therapy, I have eventually overcome, through building the trust and relationship you describe above with my therapist...but I wanted to raise them as I felt they were important considerations as barriers to disclosure, in addition to the clients own personal pain and reactions to their experiences that hold them back from acknowledging and talking about sex-related things in therapy
