Thank you so much for this article. It makes a lot of sense. I find myself in the situation where I am struggling with a new diet every week. On for four days binging for three. I manage to maintain a normal weight, but i feel like an alcoholic who binges on the weekend but I use food. I am a functioning binger for lack of a better term. It makes me depressed on a monthly basis and it's not fair to my friends, family and especially my husband. I need some help and I have never had a place to turn or anyone who I thought could even understand. So thank you for this website, thank you so much.
